VACANCIES FOR SENIOR RESIDENTS AT DEPT OF PULMONARY MEDICINE, TO WORK IN NEW CMC RANIPET CAMPUS, VELLORE
Qualification:
M.D in Respiratory Medicine (or) General Medicine
Job description:
To work under the guidance of senior consultants in the OPD patient services, Inpatient services and the diagnostic area – Bronchoscopy, Thoracoscopy and USG guided procedures.
Facilities:
The department of Pulmonary Medicine is a department running several educational programmes and provides a lot of learning opportunities. It is equipped with :
- A state-of-the-art PF lab (including spirometry, lung volume, diffusion capacity, respiratory drive, impulse oscillometry, sputum induction, FeNO)
- Bronchoscopy/thoracoscopy suite with capability of performing diagnostic and therapeutic flexible and rigid bronchoscopy and thoracoscopy.
- Sleep lab performing polysomnography and a range of diagnostic studies and CPAP titration.
- HDU performing invasive and non-invasive ventilation
- Allergy lab performing food challenge, drug challenge and desensitisation programme for essential drugs
- Pulmonary rehabilitation programme
- Research opportunities

VACANCIES FOR JUNIOR RESIDENTS AT DEPT OF PULMONARY MEDICINE, TO WORK IN NEW CMC RANIPET CAMPUS, VELLORE
Qualification:
M.B.B.S
Job description:
To work under the guidance of senior consultants and senior residents in the OPD patient Inpatient services. You will gain hands-on experience with various procedures such as intercostal chest drainage, central line placement, thoracocentesis, basics of lung ultrasonography, Non invasive ventilation management, ABG interpretation etc.

Job description:
Work in the advanced pulmonary function lab, respiratory ward, respiratory HDU, bronchoscopy/thoracoscopy suites, sleep lab and pulmonary rehabilitation
